"Hatchet" By: Gary Paulsen
Here in this atmosphere you will find that it represents the mood and setting for Chapter's 1-3 in the book "Hatched", by Gary Paulsen. Within the first few chapters it's known for the little boy Brian, that he's on the way to visit his father. During the time span of Brian being asleep and into his deep thoughts on the plane, the Pilot then began to have a heart attack and the plane engine dies all of a sudden. Which then forced the pilot to land earlier than what was expected. He then points the plane's nose down and vomits. Brian was only 13 years of age. Brian began to take matters into his own hand and try his best to direct the plane being that thousands of people were on the plane. Yet, he wasn't able after awhile and the signal was lost and the plane ended up crashing. He then gets sick and ends up stranded and was the in need of help.
