Late Summer, still waiting for the rainy season. Exotic birds you've never heard before fill the air. And you hear the faint call of an even more... is that... a dinosaur?
(This is for my Dungeons & Dragons Eberron game, which features an area akin to the Serengeti, except with dinosaurs. Feel free to mute the gibbon if you'd prefer a more real-world sound.)
