"Ryan prayed for minutes on end and Noah was accustomed to lighting a fresh cigarette over and over while the pastor prayed for the ten thousand things that were touched by God and the ten thousand more that awaited His mercy. Ryan prayed for Tyler, she prayed for Noah, and she prayed for her congregation and she prayed for the town and she prayed for whatever crossed her mind. Noah swore as she lit her fifth cigarette that Ryan was in tune with the joys and sorrows of every creature and that God Himself had blessed her with a wisdom that was unattainable for other humans."
This atmosphere is used to help me write certain scenes of my novel. Enjoy :)
